Domaine de Manville

Located in Les Baux-de-Provence, near the Luberon, the entire Manville estate was long dedicated to agriculture. A sheepfold here, outbuildings there, still hint at the property's original purpose. Today, the rooster's crow, the transhumance, the tomatoes from the vegetable garden, the grape harvest, and the olive picking still mark the rhythm of life on the estate… thus the seasons follow one another and time passes slowly. The architectural conversion of this estate, carried out by Mireille Pellen, a heritage architect, in collaboration with the landscape designers of PEP’S (for the exterior landscaping) and Annie Zéau (for the interior design), has restored and expanded the buildings to accommodate a sumptuous 5-star hotel in a remarkable, historically rich setting. The project was conducted in a way that preserved the history and heritage essence of this place, in the heart of Provence.
