The site's name comes from its distinctive architecture in the form of wooden pyramids, perfectly integrated into a centuries-old oak forest, providing a mysterious and wild setting for the visit. The experience is designed as an educational journey: you will discover the evolution of the wolf into the dog, the crucial ecological role of this large predator, and its place in our tales and legends. Outside, a trail allows visitors to observe a pack of maned wolves and wolfdogs, while enjoying interactive exhibits. It is an ideal destination in Burgundy to raise children’s awareness of biodiversity protection while experiencing an immersive adventure close to nature.

In February, bring warm clothing and suitable footwear for the forest to comfortably walk the outdoor trail. Expert tip: Don't miss the exhibit under the pyramids, which uses sound and light effects to tell the story of the wolf in a very engaging way. For hiking enthusiasts, the park is located in an area of Puisaye rich in trails; you can easily combine your visit with a walk to Lake Bourdon or the Guédelon medieval construction site, located about 20 minutes away by car. Finally, the park has a shaded picnic area for a break in nature, weather permitting.
