Musee NapolÉon Brienne

Housed within the walls of the former Royal Military School, the Napoleon Museum in Brienne-le-Château offers a unique insight into the youth of Napoleon Bonaparte. It was here, in this 18th-century building, that the young Corsican student spent five pivotal years (1779-1784) as a King's scholar. Fully renovated, the museum features a modern, interactive tour through four key themes: the daily life of a student, the 1814 French Campaign, the building of the legend, and the journey from shadow to light. The experience is both personal and monumental. Beyond personal artifacts and uniforms, the museum highlights the Emperor's deep emotional connection to Brienne, which he called his "second homeland."
