Cite de l'Espace

The Cité de l'espace (Space City) is a science center focused on space and space exploration, dedicated to both astronomy and astronautics. Located in Toulouse, the Cité de l'espace was inaugurated in June 1997. Imagine walking on the Moon, boarding the Mir space station, admiring the Ariane 5 rocket, dreaming among the stars… You can do all this at the Cité de l'espace, just a stone's throw from the center of Toulouse. The Cité offers 2,500 m² of interactive exhibits to become an expert on Earth and the Universe, learn everything about spaceflight, and even learn how to predict the weather. Its 5-hectare gardens, which house life-size replicas of spacecraft and a large telescope, its IMAX® cinema with a giant screen, its interactive planetarium, and its numerous activities for all ages make space travel even more fun.
