Guests come to disconnect in one of the 98 rooms spread between the château and its outbuildings, where the décor brilliantly blends the charm of ancient stone with warm, contemporary furnishings. It's the ideal address for those seeking to escape the urban bustle without having to plan a single detail. Life at the château revolves around conviviality and simple pleasures. Guests can help themselves to the seasonal buffet, settle into the grand salons to read by the fireplace, or enjoy the terraces by the water. The estate is a vast playground where well-being reigns supreme, thanks in particular to the superb 700 m² Nuxe Spa with its indoor pool, sauna, and hammam. To fully experience the "Country Houses" atmosphere, I recommend arriving in the early afternoon, even if your room isn't ready yet. This way, you can enjoy the afternoon tea buffet and, more importantly, access all the self-service activities: rowboats on the moat, bicycles, tennis, or even the golf driving range. My personal favorite: the private movie screening in the castle's dedicated theater in the late evening—a moment of absolute relaxation after a delicious dinner.
